The texture is a bit thicker than that of a juice – more like the right combination between a juice and a milkshake in thickness. Detox smoothies are really gratifying, especially when the ingredients list includes fruits like pineapple, apple, lemon, honeydew melon, and strawberry!

Many smoothies are full of unnecessary sugar, however, this detox green smoothie recipe is void of all but an optional pinch of honey.

I especially love it when I’m craving something sweet! When you’re on the go, this smoothie will help you get your fix without the insulin spike that can come with overindulging.

If you’re looking for a great drink for those late nights with no appetite, this smoothie is an easy win. You’ll be amazed how great you feel when you switch to clean products and cut out unhealthy sugars and fats from your diet.

Another wonderful superfood that’s great for your body, skin, and mind is hemp seed. They are a great protein source and contain high amounts of vitamin E, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron, and zinc along with healthy fats. Hemp seed is also full of fatty acids that ward off cardiovascular disease and many associated health conditions.

This detox green smoothie recipe is dairy-free, gluten-free, and packed with protein. It’s rich in potassium, which you can find in a lot of other superfoods like bananas, spinach, and avocado. And, of course, these superfoods contain phytonutrients (green plant-based nutrients) which can help lower inflammation, boost blood circulation, and improve skin health.

  • Blender


  • 2 Green Apples
  • 1/2 Lemon, Juiced
  • 2 Large Stalks of Celery
  • 2 cups Chopped Honeydew Melon
  • 1 cup Chopped Frozen Pineapple or Frozen Strawberries
  • 2 tbsp. Hemp Seeds
  • 2 cups Filtered Water


  • Cut and core the apples and place into a blender along with the celery, honeydew melon, pineapple or strawberries, lemon juice and water. Blend until smooth and serve immediately.
